St John's Wesley youth had an outing on the Towy on Sunday, July 9th from Chester basin to Backford ( & return). despite the young people having lived their lives in the canal county this was the first opportunity for many to go boating!
TOWY stars at Arts Festival
The 'Towy' was at the Diverse Arts Festival in chester basin on July 9th demonstrating a wide range of canal arts and crafts. It
is proposed to seek grant aid for a bigger event next year including a drama set on the Towy above northgate locks.
Towy at the Heritage Open Days
Towy was on display at Tower wharf, Chester on Sunday, 14th of September. A talk on her history & restoration was well received. She is now at her Winer base near Faulkner's bridge at Waverton.
